Applications are now open for the Queen’s University Chancellor’s Scholarship 2020-21. Students who demonstrate superior academic ability, creative also original thinking, involvement in school or community activities, also proven leadership can apply for a Queen’s major admission award. Financial need is also a consideration for some of the major admission awards. You may apply for all of the awards below that you are eligible for by submitting a single Major Admission Award (MAA) application. Moreover, The University at Kingston (commonly shortened to Queen’s University or Queen’s) is a public research university in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Founded on 16 October 1841 via a royal charter issued by Queen Victoria, the university predates Canada’s founding by 26 years. Further, The university holds more than 1,400 hectares (3,500 acres) of land throughout Ontario and owns Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, England. Queen’s is organize into ten undergraduate, graduate and professional faculties also schools.

Benefit

  • The value of the scholarship is $36,000 paid as $9,000 a year.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada. You may attend high school in Canada or internationally.
  • Applicants must still submit a PSE and Supplemental Essay (if applicable).
  • Recipients will not be eligible for other merit-based scholarships.
  • Also, Applicant must receive a nomination from the high school where they most recently attended the full-time study. Nominations from institutions where the applicant is enroll in part-time studies will not be accept.
  • To renew the scholarship each year a GPA of 3.5 is achieve in a full course load each year.
  • Also, The grades listed for individual awards are based on the Canadian School System.
  • The student is admitting based on his/her high school grades (excludes all post-secondary course work). And,
  • The student is being admit into year one of a full-time undergraduate degree program at Queen’s.
  • Further, All appeals must be receive by December 1 of your first year at Queen’s.
