Description for Scholarship:

This Scholarship  awards to Southern African Students. The highest scoring scholarship applicants in each region who does not receive another scholarship is automatically considering for a University of Southern California Scholarship. Likewise, before receiving a scholarship, recipients should provide proof of enrolment in at University Of Southern California. Similarly, should winners not be able to provide such verification at the beginning of the fall semester following their application process, their awards will be offering to alternates.

Eligibility

All applicants will be required to submit an electronic copy of their most recent transcript(s). A transcript may be scanned and saved as a PDF (the preferred file format). JPEG, GIF, and PNG saved as 100 DPI or less are also accepted file formats. Applicants will need a letter of recommendation from the English Language department. Students will use the email recommender request process built into the Afro scholar Online submission process. Currently an undergraduate student in first year. Plan should be enroling as a full-time undergraduate student
