Queen Margaret University is pleased to offer a number of competitive scholarship for international students in Scotland. Queen Margaret University is a public university located in Musselburgh, East Lothian, Scotland. The university operates an open access repository of the research output of the university, called e-research, with the intention of making the work of researchers open and available to the public via the web.
Queen Margaret University provides several scholarship to international students pursuing tertiary education in Scotland. These may be fully or partially funded scholarships. Under the Queen Margaret University International Scholarship scheme each new international students undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £9,000 for a single year of study only.
Each scholar will receive £3,000 towards tuition fee.
Under Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships scheme, 50 awards are available for one year of study on a Masters course to students from Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Pakistan, and the USA. Moreover, this is part of the Scottish Government’s continuing support for the ‘brightest and best’ students to come and study in Scotland in partnerships with Scottish Universities.
Each Scholar will receive £8000 towards tuition fee.
Santander Bank allocates a number of scholarships to the University. Moreover, these scholarships are for new international students (from outside the EU and EEA) undertaking their first year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the academic year 2018-19. Students must have made an application to study at QMU in order to apply.
Each successful candidate will receive £5000 towards tuition fee.
All freshmen students who are self-funded are eligible for the QMU international Scholarship.
