St Cross College is pleased to offer 6 Worldwide Scholarships for the academic year 2019-2020. Further,  for applicants who are normally resident in one of the six continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania) with one Scholarship being awarded per gathered field of applicants from that continent. Each Worldwide Scholarship has a value of £10,000.

Additionally, Who has been accepted into an accredited one-year Master’s (MSc/MSt). Additionally, the course at the University of Oxford and who is unable to secure full funding from elsewhere. The successful scholar will get priority for a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the year of their course.

Moreover, St Cross is home to scholars from a wide spectrum of academic disciplines and is a typical of the Oxford tradition. Also,  in that the College does not have separate common rooms for its Senior and Junior Members or a high table in the hall. Instead, there are central common rooms for all College Members and open seating in Hall. The College believes that this egalitarianism fosters a productive intellectual environment. Where Senior and Junior Members can form meaningful relationships to the betterment of their research. Further, The Fellowship of St Cross College has the highest proportion of Professors of any of the Oxford graduate colleges. Thus offering our students unequaled access to some of the University’s greatest minds.

  • Each Worldwide Scholarship has a value of £10,000. The successful scholar will get priority for a room in College accommodation (at the standard rent) for the year of their course.

Eligibility

  • be of outstanding academic ability;
  • have submitted a successful application for a one-year Master’s (MSc/MSt) course to the University of Oxford;
  •  have received and accepted a provisional place at St Cross College ;
  •  show proof of their ability to meet remaining expenses (i.e. minus £10,000) by the application deadline;
  •  take up their place in October 2019.
