Apply for the Scholarships at the University of Queensland . The deadline for the application is 8th March 2021. The scholarship is for Bachelors, Masters degree and the name of the schoalrship is Leeanne Women in Engineering Bond Scholarship at University of Queensland.

The scholarship is to encourage and support a female student undertaking their first year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering programs.

Eligibility

  • Submits an application to the Associate Dean, by the closing date for applications including a personal statement outlining the applicant’s

(a) career aspiration
(b) interest in the engineering professions

  • is a female student
  • Also, is a domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy;
  • Likewise, is enrolled or intends to enrol full-time in the first year of the Approved Undergraduate Engineering Program: and
  • Furthermore, does not hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean considers to be similar.

Approved Undergraduate Engineering Program means the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or integrated Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering or a dual program, that includes a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) component.

Benefits

The successful recipients of the schoalrship will receive a partial funding of  $5,000. Additionally, the recipient may also recceive personal mentoring or coaching by Ms Leeanne Bond during the year. (including help in identifying part-time work or vacation experience).
