Summit Fellowship position available at Trinity College in Connecticut, United States of America. Trinity College seeks to hire a Summit Fellow for Data Analysis for a two-year position. Summit Fellows work to advance particular strategic goals and initiatives, as well as support College-wide implementation of Trinity’s bicentennial strategic plan, “Summit”. The Summit Fellow for Data Analysis will report to the Director of Analytics and Strategic Initiatives.

As a member of the ASIC, this Summit Fellow will have the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of data projects spanning multiple subject areas and utilizing advanced software tools—work that will directly support decision-making by all levels of college leadership. Given the broad scope of ASIC, there is flexibility to adapt this position to the experience and interests of the incumbent.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Areas of Responsibility of the candidate on this Summit Fellowship at Trinity College include

  • Conducting quantitative analysis to respond to internal and external data reporting needs.
  • Assisting with research design, visualization, and dissemination of results to key stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of processes for the systematic collection and organization of data.
  • Extracting and consolidating data from multiple internal and external sources, including relational databases, text files, statistical files, and web services.
  • Investigating, validating, and documenting data quality and integrity.
  • Documenting procedures and data structures.
  • Assisting with the design, administration, and analysis of web-based surveys.
  • Preparing technical training materials for the Trinity community.

Qualifications

  • Fellows must have successfully earned an undergraduate degree in any field within the last 3 years, preferably from a liberal arts college.
  • Must be agile, creative, and passionate about the liberal arts experience and Trinity’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of being highly collaborative and committed to inclusiveness, and they will be interested in thinking about the future of higher education.

Compensation

Summit Fellows will receive a competitive salary and benefits, as well as have access to professional development opportunities. Fellows who choose to enroll in one of the college’s graduate programs are eligible for tuition remission.
