Asian Development Bank Japan Scholarship Program 2020 (Fully Funded)
The Government of Japan and the Asian Development Bank offer the Asian Development Bank Japan Scholarship Program 2020 at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Frontier Science. The scholarships aim to provide opportunity citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to pursue postgraduate studies. This scholarship provides an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.

Applications are open for the Hakuho Japan Scholarships For International Students 2021. The deadline for application is 30th October 2020. With the goals of further strengthening the fundamentals of international research into Japan and deepening understanding of Japan, the Japanese Research Fellowship invites leading international researchers of the Japanese language, Japanese language education, Japanese literature and Japanese culture to Japan to conduct residential research.

Eligibility for Scholarships at the University of Copenhagen
- Applicants must hold an MSc degree or equivalent. The University will give priority to candidates with a background in one of the following areas: glaciology, hydrology, biogeochemistry, or environmental science.
- Furthermore, fieldwork experience is required, preferably in Arctic environments. Also, practical field experience with advanced equipment for hydrological or greenhouse gas studies is an advantage, in addition to basic knowledge of electronics and programming.
- Additionally, applicants must be fluent in both writing and speaking English to a level sufficiently high for communication and dissemination at an academic level.

Department of Nutrition, Exercise, and Sports, Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen is offering a Ph.D. scholarship in sports sociology/policy commencing 1 November 2020 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Fully Funded Fellowships at the University of Copenhagen

The position will focus on mental health research with conflict-affected populations in low-resource settings. In particular, the focus of the position will be on contributing knowledge with regard to how best to address the social determinants of mental health in populations affected by adversity in low-resource settings.
Eligibility
Essential experience and skills:
- A Ph.D. in Public Mental Health, Clinical/ Health/ Community Psychology, Humanitarian Mental Health, Psychiatry, Mental Health Nursing, Psychiatric Social Work, or another field related to social determinants of mental health
- Likewise, experience in rigorous, mixed methods, intervention research in the field of social determinants of mental health in low-resource settings and/or mental health and psychosocial support interventions in low-resource humanitarian settings
- Also, you have a high commitment to conducting research that makes a sustainable difference in the lives of marginalized populations. Also, are willing to work across the boundaries of academic disciplines and practice/policy sectors
- You are committed to conducting research in close, equitable partnerships with academic and humanitarian partners in low-resource settings
- You have worked in low-resource settings, and thrive in culturally diverse working environments
- Additionally, can creatively adapt research projects to fit the changing circumstances in dynamic, low-resource, humanitarian settings
- Furthermore, have strong communication skills and are a team player
- You have excellent English skills written and spoken
