The University of Tulsa offers International Leadership Scholarships to well-qualified international applicants. This is a merit-based scholarship based on the student’s academic background as well as extracurricular and leadership experience. This scholarship provides financial relief for international undergraduate students.

Benefit

The Tulsa International Leadership Scholarships value vary from $2,000 to $16,000 USD. The initial award is for one year and is renewable as long as the student maintains full-time enrollment and a 2.0 cumulative GPA at The University of Tulsa. Eligible students may renew up to three times for a total of four years of study. Early applicants are favorable to receive the scholarship. If outside scholarships received, combined with TU scholarship funds, exceed the student’s basic charges of TU tuition and TU room and board the university reserve the right to adjust your TU awarded funds.

Eligibility

The Tulsa International Leadership Scholarships recognizes freshmen with exceptional leadership skills at the time of admission. Students must submit a completed application for admission with all the required supporting documents. As applicants are automatically eligible for the scholarship, you will not require an additional application.

Required Materials

Applicants may apply for the Tulsa International Leadership Scholarship during admission. The admission process at Tulsa University will require the following items:

  • International Application for Admission – Applicants may complete the application from online, or download a paper form.
  • Further, Nonrefundable application fee of $50 payable to the university.
  • Likewise, Original or certified copies of all secondary (high school) transcripts, as well as post-secondary transcripts from all institutions, attended (if any). If transcripts are not issued in English, submit a certified English translation along with documents in the original language. Failure to submit transcripts from all institutions attended may result in denial or cancellation of the admission offer, or dismissal from the university. Students who have attended another college or university and have 60 semester hours of academic credit are not required to supply secondary school documents.
  • Also, A photocopy of the personal data page of your passport.
  • However, if you are studying A Levels, International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, or Advanced Placement courses, please submit official scores or results to be considered for college credit based on qualifying exam scores.
  • Also, Internationals applicant will require to complete and submit Confirmation of Financial Resources form. Applicants must produce proof of financial support for 1 year of study and living expenses before the University of Tulsa grants final admission.
  • All international students wishing to enroll in academic classes must provide proof of English proficiency (TOFEL, IELTS, etc.).

Applicants must send their original scores directly from the testing organization. To send SAT scores from ETS the institution code is 6883. To send ACT scores the institution code is 3444.

The University of Tulsa will consider all the international applicants eligible for the International Leadership Scholarship during the time of admission given that the applicants hold firmly a place of an offer in the university. Candidates will not require a separate application for the scholarship
