UN OHCHR Fellowship Program 2025 | Fully Funded Trip to Switzerland
The United Nations is launching the fully funded UN OHCHR Fellowship Program 2025 in Geneva, designed for people of African descent passionate about human rights. This intensive program offers hands-on training in international human rights law, project development, and public speaking. Participants will engage with the UN human rights system, raise awareness on issues affecting African communities, and present their work at a major global forum.
Started in 2011, this fellowship supports the International Decade for People of African Descent and aims to strengthen policies, civil society, and government cooperation. It also provides valuable networking opportunities and career growth by connecting fellows with experts and activists worldwide.
Participants will receive expert training and a fully funded trip to Switzerland, gaining unique experience in human rights advocacy with the UN. This is a rare chance to learn, network, and make a global impact.
Eligibility Criteria UN OHCHR Fellowship in Switzerland 2025:
- The applicant must be of African descent living in the Diaspora.
- The applicant must have at least 4 years of work experience related to the rights of African people who are descended.
- The applicant must be proficient in the English language.
- The applicant must be available to attend the entire fellowship program duration.
- The applicant must be able to obtain a visa for the host country (Switzerland).
- The applicant must submit a certification letter from an organization working on issues of African descent or minority rights that certify their status.
