University of British Columbia Schmidt Science Fellowships 2020 is open for International Students. Additionally, the scholarship allows Fellowship level programm(s) in the field of All subjects taught at the University of British Columbia.

University of British Columbia Schmidt Science Fellowships 2020 is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at the University of British Columbia.

Eligible Nationalities:

International students are eligible for this scholarship program.

Scholarship Benefits:

Fellows receive a stipend of $100,000 and are supported by the program to undertake a full-time, postdoctoral study for at least one year.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, applicants must have to meet the following criteria:

  • Have conducted their graduate degree in the natural sciences (Astronomy, Biology – including Neurobiology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Sciences), Engineering, Mathematics, or Computing – and all sub-disciplines therein.
  • Also, they should have completed or expect to complete all of the requirements for the conferral of their Ph.D. in one of these fields between 1 May 2019 and 30 June 2020. Furthermore, for the nomination, candidates must have(or will receive) their Ph.D. from UBC.

Application Procedure:

To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must take admission to the doctoral degree program at the University of British Columbia. Additionally, after the registration, the University will consider the candidates for this education award.
