About the UBC International Scholars Program 2027

The International Scholars Program supports talented young people who have the potential to create positive change in their communities and beyond. Selected scholars join a diverse international community and receive academic, personal, and career development support throughout their undergraduate studies.

The University of British Columbia provides dedicated advising, skill-building workshops, learning opportunities, and access to a global academic community. The scholarship awards are based on both academic merit and financial need, with funding determined by the applicant’s circumstances and the award received.

Types of International Scholars Awards

Applicants are considered for the award categories for which they qualify. They do not select a specific award when submitting their applications.

The available awards include:

1. Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award
