The University of Deusto, Business School is offering a number of scholarships to postgraduate students seeking a Master’s degree in various areas. The Fundación Vizcaína Aguirre Grants Programme at the University promotes equal opportunities for students at Deusto Business School. This financial aid is offered through a grants programme to enable students with limited means and a good academic record to begin and/or continue their studies.

Moreover, the students in Spain seeking a Master’s degree in the following areas may apply for the scholarships at the University of Deusto.

University of Deusto Scholarships gives scholarships as

The Fundación Vizcaína Aguirre awards scholarships in the form of tuition waiver.  Deusto Business School offers a scholarship of 40% percent reduction in the tuition fee for the first-time enrolment in subjects. However, the waiver doesn’t include the contribution fee and credit recognition fees. This reduction is applicable to each of the monthly tuition payments.

Eligibility

  • Students who have been admitted to postgraduate studies of Deusto Business School (except Master’s degree in Accounts Auditing) and who have a grade point of average of 6 on a scale of 0-10 (or the equivalent for foreign degree programmes) are eligible to apply for the Fundación Vizcaína Aguirre Grants.
  • Candidates’ CVs, academic and personal reasons for studying the Master’s degree and their relationship with the University of Deusto will be evaluated for the final decision.
  • The applicant’s family income may not exceed the assets and income limits set for this call for applications.

Applying for Deusto Scholarships in Spain

To apply for the Scholarships, University of Deusto avails online application form at its website. Furthermore, applicants will require to provide the following documents to apply for the scholarships in Spain.

  • Application form
  • Likewise, Academic transcript of the studies giving access to the Master’s degree programme (UD graduates are exempt).
  • Further, a Curriculum Vitae
  • As well as, a Motivation letter to the Grants Committee explaining the reasons for applying for the grant and why the applicant considers him/herself a deserving candidate.
  • Also, Proof of residence which includes a list of all the persons residing in the home.
  • Complete photocopy of income tax and/or assets declaration for all the computable family members for the last fiscal exercise.
  • Certificates of all the family’s income during the last income tax and/or assets declaration from unemployment benefits, pensions, promotion funds, etc
  • In cases of separation or divorce, proof of the updated amount of the pension received must be presented, or, if applicable, proof that it has not been collected.

Moreover, the applicants must submit their application before the deadline. The University of Deusto provides three alternatives to submit the applications:

  • Submit via post to the Grant Service of the University of Deusto
  • Or, Submit via e-mail
  • Submit in person to Grant Service during Office hours

Deadline

The Deusto Business School accepts the scholarship application until 14 June 2019. Moreover, the applicants will require to submit their application as early as possible before the deadline. The School, however, will not entertain any applications arriving after the deadline.
