Details

The University of Edinburgh calls applications for the School of GeoSciences Sustainability Scholarships 2020. Interested candidates can apply until 1st July 2020. The scholarship is for Masters degree in the field of Energy, Geology, Sustainability, Environment Science, Food Security, Marine Systems.

Eligibility

The candidates must meet the following requirements for the GeoSciences Sustainability Scholarships

  • The students must be studying full-time on-campus for the Masters degree programs commencing in September 2020.
  • Additionally, they can be citizens of any country.

Application Process

  • Applicants must submit a personal statement via the EUCLID online application form
  • It must be no more than 500 words describing a specific sustainability issue they will strive to champion during and after their time in Edinburgh.
  • Also, the statement should include information regarding any relevant work experience or internships/ volunteering which supports this issue.

Value of Scholarship

  • The scholarship is partial-funding.
  • The reward provides 2000 pounds to the students’ tuition fees

Nomination

  • A Selection Committee will meet to select the recipients and all candidates and notify them of the outcome by the 31st of July 2020.
