WARA West African Scholar Mobility Fellowship 2025 ($4,000 grant)

The West African Research Association (WARA) is pleased to announce researching funding and support for young West African scholars through its West African Scholar Mobility Fellowship (WASMF) Program 2025.

The West African Scholars and Mentorship Fellowship (WASMF) reflects WARA’s commitment to increasing opportunities for emerging West African scholars and enhancing transatlantic exchange and collaboration. This program supports 2 to 3 months of research in West Africa during the summer of the current year. It aims to help scholars prepare doctoral research proposals or conduct doctoral research in the region. The fellowship provides a valuable opportunity for scholars to strengthen their academic work, engage with local research communities, and contribute to the development of knowledge in their field, fostering meaningful partnerships between West Africa and the global academic community.
