The purpose of William Nathaniel Robertson Scholarship is to enable a student to undertake a research project as part of the requirements for the MBBS/MD-MPhil or MBBS/MD-PhD programs. Moreover, the scholarship was founded in 1984 by a bequest of $10,000 under the will of Clara Joan Roe, in memory of her father, William Nathaniel Robertson, Vice-Chancellor of the University 1926-1938.

Under the recommendation of the Dean, one student in the MBBS/MD-MPhil or MBBS/MD-PhD program may receive William Nathaniel Robertson Scholarship. The candidates will receive a scholarship of the amount at least $2,000.
