Regent’s University London in association with the International Textile and Apparel Association is accepting scholarship application from domestic as well as international students pursuing undergraduate studies in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising. Also known as Will Conard Scholarship, the scholarship was introduced with the motive of establishing and developing strong relationships with universities and colleges across the US. Consequently, it proved to be the key to great success in the area of Fashion Design and Merchandising. Therefore, the University is availing the International Fashion Design Scholarship for two international students annually. Moreover, the university provides International Scholarships in the following courses:

• BA (Hons) Fashion Design
• BA (Hons) Fashion Design (Marketing)
• BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing

Benefits

Two (2) International students will receive this scholarship, one semester placements on BA Fashion Design and BA Fashion Marketing.The scholarship in Fashion Designing will include a full tuition fee waiver for international students. Also, the beneficiary of this scholarship will receive housing for an upcoming regular academic 12-week term or 6-week summer programme.

How to apply

The application package for the Will Conard Scholarship for a specific programme must include the following requirements for consideration (incomplete or late submissions will not be considered):

1. 1. Completed application form.
   2. Sponsorship letter* from department head/chair verifying that you are the school’s representative for the Regent’s University London – Will Conard Scholarship for a specific programme. The letter must be on official department letterhead, include your major and overall grade point average, and must be signed by the department head/chair.
   3. Further, One letter of recommendation* from an ITAA faculty member. The letter should address how long the ITAA member has known the applicant and in what capacity, the applicant’s academic and leadership abilities, extracurricular and community involvement, and potential for future contributions to the profession. Also, The letter must be on official department letterhead and must be signed by the ITAA member.
   4. Copy of official transcripts from all institutions of matriculation.
   5. Also, Examples of student work. This can include but is not limited to reports, essays, PowerPoint presentations, and/or visual work.

* The sponsorship letter and letter of recommendation may be combined into one letter if your department head/chair is:

• an ITAA member
• familiar with you and your work/achievements
• willing to expand the sponsorship letter by also including the required information for the letter or recommendation

Applicants must submit all the required documents with the application to ITAA by 1 July 2019.
