Syngenta in association with INSEAD invites application for Emerging Country Leadership scholarships. Two scholarships will be awarded per class and candidates for this scholarship will need to demonstrate: (a) outstanding academic achievement and promise (b) aptitude for business and financial management (c) Likewise, leadership potential and (d) Also, a commitment to contributing to their country or region at some point in the future.
Candidates must be a national of an emerging economy. Further, they should have spent a substantial part of their lives in the developing world, in education and/or professional experience. Further, experience in the industry will add positively to the candidacy. Also, candidates with proven financial assistance are preferable.
1)Briefly discuss the requirements for successful business leaders in your country today. Also, describe how you envisage contributing to the future development of your country after graduation and why you should be considered for this award. (200 words)
2)Briefly discuss measures required for sustainable agriculture in your country/region in the context of urban and rural development. Focus on what you consider to be the most important element (250 words)
3)Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as your budget for the year at INSEAD. Also, How do you expect to finance your studies if you do not obtain a scholarship from INSEAD? ( 150-200 words)
Each candidate who is successful to receive the INSEAD scholarships will acquire an amount of €22,500.
You may apply for the INSEAD scholarships award online. However, you must succeed in fulfilling the eligibility criteria as defined by INSEAD. Also, you will need to submit the essays mentioned above.
For classes starting in December 2020 Class:
Round 1 application opens through 25 March- 8 April 2019.
Round 2 application opens through 20 May- 3 June 2019.
