Proposals are invited for the AWDF World AIDS Day & 16 Days of Activism Grants 2022. AWDF invites applications for the 2022 Sixteen Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence on “Young women led approaches to addressing digital/online safety for women and girls”.
African Women’s Development Fund (AWDF) will consider applications from women’s groups and organisations, particularly those led by young women or girls, to educate, raise awareness and increase online safety and enjoyment, and prevent online violence and abuse against young women and girls.
To contribute to the creation of safe, accessible digital spaces, AWDF invites applications from women-led organisations and women’s groups for work using digital technologies such as mobile phones, social media and online apps to address stigma and discrimination against women living with HIV, and to facilitate access to treatment and services. They will prioritise work that is creative and which employs innovative approaches to raising awareness on and increasing public support for HIV prevention and stigma reduction; contribute to positive changes in social norms that underpin stigma and discrimination which increase the vulnerability of young women and girls to HIV.
Lastly, It is important to visit the official website link found below to access the application form.
