Fully Funded PhD scholarship is available in Australia. Moreover, Australian National University(ANU) is offering fully funded K.T. Tan scholarship to international students. In 2018 the John Curtin School of Medical Research (“JCSMR”), in the ANU College of Health and Medicine (“the college’, will offer an award known as the K.T. Tan PhD Scholarship. The objective/s of the award is to attract a student of high caliber, with research qualifications and/or expertise, in vision sciences or a related field, to pursue graduate research for a PhD degree at the JCSMR while developing entrepreneurial skills for engagement with industry.
Funding for the fully funded Phd Scholarship has been generously provided by Dr. Suan Tan, in honor of her late father, K.T. Tan. Dr. Tan completed her PhD at ANU in 1982. Her intention is to support work likely to lead to entrepreneurial activity, with a focus on developing new therapeutic interventions for the currently incurable, Dry Age‐Related Macular Degeneration (AMD).
