The creative arm of ESPN Marketing produces a variety of advertising pieces to promote a full range of sports properties, shows, products and services to the fans. It is responsible for developing, producing and delivering best-in-class creative across media platforms that meet the objectives of our marketing teams and serves the ESPN Brand. Further, the Marketing department seeks creative individuals for the internship.

This role helps support the needs of our Creative Team. Working closely with Writer/Producers and creative personnel, you’ll have the opportunity to touch a range of projects by assisting with pulling footage, researching, writing scripts, and gaining post-production experience for TV, radio and social media tune-in based marketing campaigns.

  • Solid writing skills and knowledge of creative development for advertising and promotion

  • Willingness to learn, share ideas, and collaborate with colleagues

To become a Marketing Creative Intern, the prospective interns must meet the following criteria:

  • An interest in the creative side of sports marketing
  • Knowledge of the ESPN Brand
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, digital media formats and understanding of the methods of television production
  • Familiarity with music and pop culture trends for influence in the production of promotional materials
  • Strong understanding of a variety of marketing mediums (TV, social media, etc.)
  • Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student in an accredited college/university in the semester prior to the internship
  • Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program. May 2019 graduates are still eligible.
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
