Discovery offers paid internships. Credit is not required; however, if necessary documentation will be provided.

What does a TV Development Intern do at Discover?

The Development Intern has several responsibilities at Discovery. Moreover, the 2020 spring internship program can be an adventure that could lead you to work on projects and tasks such as:

• Research new ideas and stories as well as casting for new characters in specific regions and content spaces.
• Attend pitch meetings
• Likewise, internet research, phone calls, phone interviews, writing, Skype interviewing, attending local shoots, reviewing footage
• Further, assist with internal development and production meetings
• Drafting treatments/pitch materials
• Gain exposure to development pipeline reporting, tape dubbing, and related research
• Keeping track of competitive networks as well as what they’re developing

• Currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Further, the candidate must be a current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
• Likewise, the candidate have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Also, Must have the legal right to work in the United States
