UNCDF is the UN’s capital investment agency for the world’s 47 least developed countries. With its capital mandate and instruments, UNCDF offers “last mile” finance models that unlock public and private resources, especially at the domestic level, to reduce poverty and support local economic development. By strengthening how finance works for poor people at the household, small enterprise, and local infrastructure levels, UNCDF contributes to Sustainable Development Goal # 1 on eradicating poverty and SDG 17 on the means of implementation. Hence, UNCDF invites application for the Financial Inclusion and Communications Internship.
As a Financial Inclusion and Communications Intern, you will be working alongside with the country coordinator, specialists, consultants, the national program officers, and associates, to provide a range of responsibilities:
To qualify for an internship with the UNCDF Internship program, applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Applicants may apply for the UNCDF Financial Inclusion and Communications Internship by submitting the online application. Further, the applicants will require a recent CV and cover letter to apply for the internship. Also, the interns may submit a relevant portfolio and documentation.
Interns, however, should note that they may submit only one PDF file via the online application portal. Hence, the applicants must merge all documents into one PDF file before uploading.
