The School of Art, Art History & Design seeks a dynamic and innovative individual for an Assistant Professor of Practice position to teach a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum in an undergraduate Graphic Design program that includes print, web, interactive and emerging media with an expected start date of August 16, 2021.
Likewise, the Assistant Professor of Practice position is a full-time, non-tenure leading, two year academic position with a renewable appointment. Also, this candidate should have a record of creative and professional achievement in the field of Graphic Design. This individual must demonstrate college teaching effectiveness including innovative use of instructional technology. This individual must have expertise in one or more of the following: interaction design, user experience design, typography, branding, package design, design history, information design, creative coding, social design, publication design, or motion graphics.
