CCP Synergy promotes tandem cooperation between civil society organizations from Germany and one of the 45 CCP partner countries which would like to carry out a joint initiative and network sustainably.

Organizations from the following countries are currently being funded: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Republic of Moldova, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan.

Benefits

CCP Synergy supports both cooperating organizations with a total of 4,500 euros.

Funding is available for the following purposes:

  • travel expenses
  • accommodation
  • also, meals in accordance with the valid daily rates
  • health insurance
  • expenditure allowance as needed
  • other costs related to the collaboration such as visas, etc.

In addition to financial support, ifa is available to answer any further questions and assist the participating organizations from abroad in obtaining visas for stays in Germany. However, the participating organizations are principally responsible for planning their own trips.

Eligibilities

If possible, both organizations should work in a similar field – thematically or regionally – from one of the following areas:

  • Policy and society
  • Media and culture
  • Human rights and peace
  • Also, Sustainable development

In addition, from 2019 to 2023, there will also be a focus on the following key topics:

  •     Digital Civil Society
  •     Non-formal Political Education
  •     Climate Justice

Exclusionary criteria for the application:

  • Individuals cannot apply for CCP Synergy.
  • All collaborations need to be finalized by 31 October 2022.

Application Process

  • Both organizations jointly fill out the application form.
  • Create a preliminary joint calculation of all costs which apply to both organizations.
  • Send the application documents, incl. the extract from the Register of Associations (or similar certification) from both organizations, by email to the CCP Synergy Coordinator, Vanessa Özdemir: oezdemir(at)ifa.de.

  • Joint estimate of costs
  • Also, extract from the Register of Associations (or similar certification) from both organizations (in the respective language of the country)
