Westminster College of the Arts (WCA) of Rider University invites applications for an Academic Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Westminster College of the Arts (WCA), this individual will assist the Dean and Associate Deans in administrative tasks relating to undergraduate and graduate students in the Westminster College of Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for new student scheduling, student registration, degree auditing, graduation clearance, counseling and advising students on academic policies and procedures for graduate and undergraduate students, and academic standing. Also, the Academic Coordinator will also work in conjunction with other professional staff in all programs as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a service-related position
• Moreover, computer expertise with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, and other standard software
• Creative thinker who can predict and solve problems proactively
• Additionally, ability to work independently, with minimal instruction from the supervisor, and the ability to seek out instruction, guidance, education, and other information as needed
• Also, ability to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
• Provide outstanding customer service to students, faculty, and staff

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Furthermore, familiarity with arts disciplines
• Also, expertise with Canvas, Banner, and other applicable educational software
• Outstanding writing skills with knowledge of the latest trends in style and grammar, and the ability to format, generate and proof-read documents with accuracy
