Qualifications:

You must have:

• 6+ years of experience at the cross-section of design and development, heavy on HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JavaScript
• Also, WordPress theme and plugin development experience
• Experience working with a template engine (bonus points for Twig/Timber)
• Likewise, working knowledge of task runners and bundling/deployment tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, etc.)
• Likewise, excellent work ethic and a positive attitude and the ability to communicate with others, including non-technical people
• Additionally, respect for code quality and deadlines
• Git & GitHub version control
• Familiar with accessibility standards and best practices
• Furthermore, experience in a journalism/storytelling-driven environment is a plus. Experience in higher education is neither necessary, nor desired.
