About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Assistant II to join our team. Reporting to the Staff Scientist, you will work on the development of new diagnostic technologies for neurodegenerative diseases and other diseases.

Basic Qualification:

  • College background in a biological science or related field is required.
  • Also, at least one year of lab research experience in molecular biology or biochemistry is required. Higher education may count towards years of experience.

Desirable Skills:

The incumbent must meet the following for Vacancy for Research Assistant in the USA:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or related field strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of research experience, preferably experience with nucleic analysis and/or protein biochemistry is preferred
  • Also, experience with one or more of the following is advantageous:
    • ELISA
    • Likewise, Next generation sequencing (NGS) library construction
    • Programming of liquid handling robots
    • Additionally, programming experience (Python or R) and expertise in computational analysis of large biological datasets
