Description:

The Center for Interacting Urban Networks (CITIES) at NYUAD is inviting applications for a Research Assistant to join CITIES and work in urban science studies under the guidance of a faculty associated with the center led by Prof. Monica Menendez.

Also, this position is designed for students from a variety of disciplines, including but not limited to student with a B.S. in: any Engineering discipline, Urban science, Data Science, Architecture, and Urban Planning, Computer and Data Science, Systems Science, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Qualifications

Responsibilities of the Position: 

• Depending on the specific project, responsibilities can range from data collection, interpretation, and analysis, to the development and test of new tools, and methods.

Essential Qualifications:

• B.S. in a broad range of disciplines including any Engineering discipline, Urban science, Data Science, Architecture. Also, Urban Planning, Computer and Data Science, Systems Science, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.

Preferred experience:

• Research experience in a relevant urban science field.
