Google is open for the job position of Digital content strategy lead in its three different offices.

About the job

 Your job would be to work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you’ll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

In partnership with the Web Platform and Growth Lead, Regional Marketing, and Digital Marketing stakeholders, you will identify and execute on opportunities to drive growth.

Minimum qualifications for the job in Google:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • six years of experience working in content or marketing.
  • In addition, two years of experience in online/website strategy.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience growing subscription businesses both enterprise and consumer.
  • Also has experience in leading, developing, and retaining a digital marketing team.
  • Experience developing relationships as well as working collaboratively with multiple cross-functional partners.
  • In addition, having experience using quantitative and qualitative insights to inform growth strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, etc. is also a plus.
  • Furthermore, holds the ability to set goals and systematically prioritize growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and execute web content strategy to achieve awareness, engagement, lead generation, and direct goals.
  • Develop processes to streamline the creation of content designed to improve placement on search engine results pages while ensuring content aligns with Google brand standards.
  • Define processes, standards, requirements, goals, and resources necessary to execute the content strategy on the web.
  •  Develop a comprehensive and disciplined approach to performance measurement of web content.
  • Also, develop insights and recommendations for improvement and ensure every content contributor is educated on best practices.
  • In addition, partner, align, and influence digital marketing teams to improve efficiencies of paid media campaigns with content experimentation plans.
