About:

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. Also, defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Duties:

  • Ensure compliance of contracts related activities (meeting deadlines, respecting the quality projects and services, adherence of contractual terms, payment terms and contractors and monitor contracts lead times)
  • Also, monitor the implementation of all service contracts, including construction contracts in collaboration with project administrators, ensure compliance with UNICEF procurement rules and regulations
  • Likewise, assess providers at the end of contracts and update the supplier database for future

 

Education

Holding a university degree in administration management, procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, Marketing or any other field related to contracts.

Experience

Have at least two (02) years of professional experience and responsibility in contract or procurement management. Work experience in an International Organization will be an asset. Construction contracts management is an added advantage.

Language

Fluency in English or French, working knowledge in any other language used by UN is an asset.

Skills and knowledge:

  • Good understanding of computer (MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) essential.
  • Likewise, good stress-resistance and work skills in a challenging safety environment.
  • Additionally, ability to manage and monitor the effective use of financial and material resources
