Background

The Finance Administrator (known internally as Officer) is a member of the Shareholder Relations team in the Office of the Secretary General (OSG). The Shareholder Relations team has an important advisory role in the Bank’s relations with non-recipient countries and has responsibility for managing the EBRD Community Initiative.

Purpose of Job

The Finance Administrator (known internally as Officer) assists in the implementation of the day-to-day activities of the EBRD Community Initiative under the direction and supervision of the Principal, Shareholder Relations. Also, the Finance Administrator (known interally as Officer) works on a part-time 3 days a week Wednesday to Friday basis (can be flexible).

Responsibilities

  • Handling expenses claims and payment of invoices related to the events financed by the Community Initiative, such as the EBRD Literature Prize.
  • Also, checking and verifying the documents required for the authorization of payments from the Community Special Fund, processing the payments as directed.
  • Furthermore, following up on reporting for staff led fundraising projects.
  • Moreover, maintaining the database for the staff led fundraising projects.
  • Additionally, assisting with the scheduling of the meetings of the Community Initiative Steering Group.
  • Likewise, assist with other ad hoc tasks, such as formatting and proofreading documents

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (desirable).
  • Also, ability to priorities own work and to work on own initiative.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Likewise, excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong communications, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
  • Moreover, personal integrity and commitment to highest ethical standards.
  • Similarly, strong computer skills.
