Inspired by the beauty and breadth of images submitted for the 2018 Image of the Year Award held in Europe, Olympus is continuing to search for the best light microscopy images in 2019—this time on a global scale. Olympus’ First Image of the Year Global Life Science Light Microscopy Award recognizes the very best in life science imaging worldwide. Participants can win a CX43 microscope with DP27 digital camera, X Line objectives or an OM-D E-M5 Mark II camera.
A panel of jury will select one global winner as well as one regional winner from the participants in each of the three regions (Asia, Europe, Americas). The Global winner of Olympus Light Microscopy Image Awards will have the opportunity to choose from three awards, while the regional winner will win OM-D-E-M5 Mark II Digital Camera.
Participants, thus, entries are eligible for the Olympus Light Microscopy Image Awards, if they meet the following requirements:
Candidates eligible to apply for the Olympus Light Microscopy Image Awards can do so by completing the registration process as well as submitting the images. Participants may do so through the Olympus Online portal.
Candidates can apply for the Olympus Light Microscopy Image Awards 2019 until 31 January 2020. Applications arriving after the deadline are invalid.
