Dates and deadlines

• You must make an entry by Tuesday 1 February 2022.
• Winners of categories 1-9 will be announced as well as exhibited at an RHS Show in 2022
• Then, Medals for category 10 (Portfolio) will be judged and awarded at an RHS Show in 2022, as well as a ‘Best portfolio photography exhibit’ will be awarded.
• After the RHS Show exhibition, a selection of images from across all 10 categories will be on display at RHS Gardens in the summer of 2022

Eligibility

• The RHS Photographic Competition is open to all apart from anyone associated with the competition
• The entrant must be the original artwork creator and also solely hold the copyright.
• Also, images must not be licenced or disposed of any rights that will conflict with the competition.
• Submission of images that have won or been commended or received notable publicity in any major competition before the submission deadline or judging will be disqualified
• In addition, there should be no submission of images into any other competition after being entered into the RHS Photographic Competition until the announcement of results.
• Entrants for Under 18 must be between 11 and 17 years old on the day the competition closes.
• Similarly, entrants for Under 11 must be under 11 years old on the day the competition closes.
