Applicants are invited for the UNESCO #MyAfricanHeritage Instagram Video Contest 2019. Further,  The trend of using Instagram to snap every other thing that happens has reached the highest point. The social media platform can be an opportunity to win filly funded trips. Further,  UNESCO has identified UNESCO #MyAfricanHeritage is the right opportunity for people who are active on Instagram. Other than the photo challenge UNESCO has also organized Free Course by UNESCO 2019.

In addition,  To apply for #MyAfrican Heritage, post your video about an African World Heritage site. Additionally, using the hashtag #MyAfricanHeritage and stand the chance to win one of our prizes. Moreover, The Entries need to present and promote African World Heritage and the importance of the World Heritage Convention in Africa. Further, They can relate to

• cultural,
• natural or
• mixed World Heritage sites (i.e., sites that are inscribed on the World Heritage list).

1st Prize:
6-month internship with the African World Heritage Fund in Midrand, South Africa

It includes:

• Return air tickets to Johannesburg, South Africa
• Stipend

2nd Prize:
Trip to South Africa to visit the World Heritage site of Robben Island

it includes:

• Two return air tickets to South Africa
• Further, Ground and ferry transportation to Robben Island
• Also, Full board accommodation on the island for 3 days for 2 people
• Entrance to the World Heritage site and a guided tour

Eligibility

• Firstly, an individual between 18 and 32 years old from any country can take part in this contest.
• The Entries are to present and promote African World Heritage and the
  importance of the World Heritage Convention in Africa.
• the posting of the video with accompanying the description on Instagram and also, tagging it with the #MyAfricanHeritage hashtag.
• Further, Videos and the accompanying text are to be done by the Entrant him/herself.
• Finally, Verifications could be made to confirm that the Entrant is the owner of the video.
