Details

LIDC (London International Development Center) is announcing the application for the fully funded Innovation to Impact Short Course.

Impact evaluation is an increasingly important part of development projects and programs, required by all major donors and widely used by development organizations (NGOs, international organizations, etc.). This means a pressing need for both current and future development professionals to develop skills that will allow them to understand, commission and use evaluation studies.

In response, LIDC will hold a Short Course entitled “Evaluation: from Innovation to Impact” from Monday 4 November to Friday 8 November 2019. The course aims to provide participants with a comprehensive background in evaluation methods for development programs. Students will also develop their own evaluation protocol to apply their learning to a contemporary development problem.

Fully Funded LIDC Innovation to Impact

The course fee will be £1,500. A 10% discount is available to each person’s fee if your organization sends two or more people. The fee includes study materials as well as refreshments during the course (tea, coffee, and lunch). However, it does not include accommodation.

Furthermore, LIDC also provides a fully funded bursary to candidates attending the Innovation to Impact short Course. Moreover, LIDC will sponsor one bursary while its partner 3ie will sponsor three bursaries. The deadline for application for the bursaries is 15th September 2019.
