Why Attend OLMUN 2025?
- Germany’s Largest High School MUN: OLMUN has built a stellar reputation since its inception in 2001, welcoming hundreds of students every year from across the globe. It simulates up to 10 committees, covering a wide spectrum of topics—from global security and environmental protection to human rights and industrial development.
- For All Experience Levels: Whether you’re new to MUN or a seasoned delegate, OLMUN offers something for everyone. First-timers can gain confidence in beginner-friendly committees, while experienced participants can take on leadership roles or tackle high-pressure simulations like the Security Council Crisis.
- 100% Student-Organized: One of the unique aspects of OLMUN is that it is entirely organized by high school students. A dedicated team of over 50 students, known as the Inner Circle, works year-round to craft an enriching and professional conference experience.
- International Friendships & Cultural Exchange: Beyond the debates, OLMUN is also a hub for intercultural exchange. With evening socials and a housing program for international students, delegates get a chance to form lasting friendships and experience German hospitality firsthand.
- Practical Learning Beyond the Classroom: OLMUN brings textbooks to life. Delegates don the role of diplomats, develop real-time resolutions, and engage in meaningful dialogue—skills that go far beyond what traditional classrooms offer.
