Applications are now open for the VIII EuroMeSCo Young Researchers Forum 2025, a fully funded opportunity for young researchers to engage directly with leading policymakers and academics. Taking place from September 15 to 17, 2025, in Mollina, Spain, this year’s forum focuses on the theme: “Shaping the Digital Future of the Euro-Mediterranean Region.”
Organized by the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the EuroMeSCo network, the forum offers a dynamic space for passionate researchers to explore the region’s digital transformation through interactive workshops, high-level networking, and impactful discussions.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be aged between 18 and 35.
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Be affiliated with a research centre, university, or organisation in a UfM country.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in the forum’s themes.
- Possess academic or professional experience relevant to digital transformation, security, migration, or economic development.

Key Components for VIII EuroMeSCo Young Researchers
- Research Presentations: Participants will present their research proposals in peer-to-peer sessions, focusing on digital transformation’s impact on security, migration, and economic development.
- Capacity-Building Sessions: Workshops aimed at enhancing research methodologies and communication skills.
- Policy Engagement: Opportunities to interact with policymakers and contribute to policy development.
- Post-Forum Publication: At least six participants will be selected to expand their concept notes into policy briefs (~3,000 words) for publication, with remuneration provided.
