Applications are open for Dancing on the Edge Scholarship Program 2021. Call for the new generation of contemporary dancers from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA region) for the Dancing on the Edge Scholarship Program 2021. Dancing on the Edge (DOTE) offers scholarships to young talent from the MENA region to attend a three-week Summer dance workshop program.
In 2021, depending on the development around Covid-19, this will either be offline in Amsterdam (attending the three-week Amsterdam Summer Intensive) or online in the three-week Online Masterclass Program. On the application form, you can let me know if you are interested to participate in both programs, or just one or the other.
Applications are open for the Fully Funded Yenching Global Symposium 2021 in Beijing. The symposium will be held from 16th to 18th April 2021 and the deadline for the application is 13th February 2021.
Yenching Global Symposium welcomes applications from applicants with strong leadership potential and a readiness to participate in nuanced, interdisciplinary discussions on questions surrounding China and ‘Shared Renewal: Recoupling East with West’.
The Yenching Academy’s flagship event, the Yenching Global Symposium (YGS), is a continuation of this mission. Hosted at Peking University every spring, the symposium comprises engaging lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions addressing both China’s impact on the world and the influence that the world has on China. Each year, the symposium features prominent Chinese and international speakers across a wide range of fields, including both scholars and leading professionals. These leaders of today will share their insights with their potential counterparts: 200 students and young professionals from around the world with a noted passion for China in their work and research.

Applications are open for British Council Go Digital Program 2021. The fund is designed to foster international connections at a time when international travel is restricted. In light of this, we are supporting partnership projects where organizations in the UK connect virtually with organizations overseas in order to deliver collaborative projects. As there are global restrictions on hosting physical activity, British Council expects the project output to be primarily digital and presented online. As the organizations will be unable to travel to meet in person, we expect that the development of the project will also be done virtually, using online collaborative tools.
The Asia-Europe Foundation Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS) is ASEM‘s official Youth platform that connects youth with the Heads of States and Governments from 51 Asian & European countries and therefore the political Leaders of the EU & the ASEAN Secretariat.
The 4th ASEF Young Leaders Summit (ASEFYLS4) may be a fully-funded 10-month long youth leadership programme connected to the 13th ASEM Summit (ASEM13) in June 2021 in Cambodia. The ASEFYLS4 focuses on ‘Sustainable Development during a post-COVID-19 World’ and incorporates 3 spheres for youth leadership: 1) self-leadership (you), 2) team leadership (we) and 3) societal leadership (all).
The 4th edition may be a hybrid project with collaborative elements happening virtually, in Cambodia, also as across ASEM countries.
The Hansen Leadership Institute has launched the applications for the Hansen Summer Institute 2021 Summer Exchange Program. This program aims to revolve around peacemaking, global participation and authority trade programs. This is a fully funded Summer Exchange program that will be held in San Diego, California.
This exchange program is to be held in San Diego, as referenced prior and will have 3 weeks. It will start from July 1st and last till 23rd July 2021. For this program, all people having undergrad, graduate or post graduate capabilities can apply. Regardless of whatever your scholastic field is, you are qualified to apply for this mid year trade program.
Applications are open for African Civic Engagement Academy (ACEA) 2021. The African Civic Engagement Academy (ACEA) is a free online training program and networking opportunity offered to selected mid-career NGO and public sector leaders across sub-Saharan Africa. The Academy is intended for mid-career individuals with demonstrated leadership experience in NGO, non-profit, or public sector roles. Space is limited and applications are competitive.
Participants will also be exposed to leadership development and strategic planning concepts. All participants will develop a peer-mentored Civic Engagement Action Plan, where they identify steps to bring a civic engagement project to life in their community or government unit.
