Join the apprenticeship program of Cybersecurity Engineer in Microsoft in the year 2022!
Cybersecurity Engineers are detail-oriented and responsible for protecting Microsoft systems against persistent threats. They perform many functions including developing and implementing secure network solutions, completing assessments and penetration testing, managing audits and security technology systems, as well as architecting secure systems.
Eligibility
- Completion of relevant training, for example:
- Graduated from a cybersecurity academy or boot camp
- Self-taught programmer with cybersecurity training demonstrating recent development projects or professional experience
- Degree from a community college in cybersecurity or related field
- Also, a degree from a college/university in cybersecurity or related field with a previous career in tech, plus a 2+ year career break
- Previous work experience in any field
- In addition, strong analytical as well as problem-solving skills
- Also has effective communication and collaborative skills
- Currently authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of Leap apprenticeship.
- Moreover, not employed as a vendor or full-time employee for Microsoft Corporation within the past six months

Interview
Selected individuals will be invited to interview for the Leap Program
- The interview process will consist of two 45-minute online interviews.
- Interview questions will focus on the following areas:
- Technical skills
- Collaborative skills
- Problem solving skills
- Also, whiteboard coding is a standard part of technical interviews.
