• Completion of relevant training, for example:
  • • Graduated from a cybersecurity academy or boot camp
    • Self-taught programmer with cybersecurity training demonstrating recent development projects or professional experience
    • Degree from a community college in cybersecurity or related field
    • Also, a degree from a college/university in cybersecurity or related field with a previous career in tech, plus a 2+ year career break
• Previous work experience in any field
• In addition, strong analytical as well as problem-solving skills
• Also has effective communication and collaborative skills
• Currently authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of Leap apprenticeship.
• Moreover, not employed as a vendor or full-time employee for Microsoft Corporation within the past six months

Interview

Selected individuals will be invited to interview for the Leap Program

• The interview process will consist of two 45-minute online interviews.
• Interview questions will focus on the following areas:

1. Technical skills
2. Collaborative skills
3. Problem solving skills

• Also, whiteboard coding is a standard part of technical interviews.
