Such is the charisma of Discovery Internship Program. As such, Discovery is looking for a charismatic individual for its  Finance Internship for Spring 2020.

Accounting and Finance are integral parts of Discovery. Interns will be exposed to the inner workings of how a publicly traded, Fortune 500 company operates. This spring, there are opportunities for interns in the Revenue Accounting team, Ad Sales Finance team, Content Accounting team, the Accounts Payable team and more!

Discovery offers paid internships. Credit is not required; however, if necessary documentation will be provided.

What does a Finance Intern do at Discover?

The Development Intern has several responsibilities at Discovery. Moreover, the 2020 spring internship program can be an adventure that could lead you to work on projects and tasks such as:

• Learn Ledger closing and reporting, SOX compliance, and SEC filing
• Likewise, participate in larger macro and microeconomic analysis of factors that drive business
• Further, exposure to internal audit testing & documentation
• Some intern positions may provide exposure to external financial reporting as well as internal control reporting
• Also, assist in the reconciliation of several general ledger accounts
• Set-up projects to accumulate costs and ultimately capitalize show costs for various Discovery programs

• Currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Further, the candidate must be a current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
• Likewise, the candidate have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Also, Must have the legal right to work in the United States

How to apply for Discovery Internship?

Eligible candidates may apply online for the Discovery Finance Spring Internship. Candidates will require to submit a CV to apply for the internship. However, they do not require a cover letter.

Deadline

The Discovery accepts the application for the finance Spring Internship until 15 November 2019. Applications arriving after the deadline do not have the possibility to attain the internship.
