Details

Asian Development Bank Portfolio Management Division calls applicants for the internship program. The incumbent will join the Department of  Private Sector Operations Development. PSOD is a dynamic and fast-moving business with many change projects ongoing at any one time. Overall, the internship will be 8 to 16 weeks long starting in June 2020. The duty station will be in Manila, the Philippines at the headquarter of Asian Development Bank.

Functions/Responsibilities

The successful appointee of Internship Program at the Asian Development Bank will perform the following tasks

  • Assist in deal monitoring and portfolio management.
  • Similarly, s/he will undertake a review of the equity portfolio (esp. the underperforming) to develop lessons learned analysis.
  • Develop consistent valuation approaches/ methodologies across the Equity portfolio.
  • Furthermore, examine and propose improvements to the equity portfolio monitoring process.

Benefits/Compensation

For this position, the Asian Development Banks will pay their intern a daily stipend of 69 US Dollars up to 56 days. However, interns may choose to continue work beyond 56 calendar days in agreement with the designated supervisors, but without stipend.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following specifications in order to apply for this internship program at the Asian Development Bank

  • Must be commencing graduate-level study in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Prior private equity, financial advisory, investment or commercial banking experience preferred.
  • Has to be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to efficiently multi-task.
  • Furthermore, must have the ability to work as part of a team and across departmental boundaries is essential.
