Asian Development Bank calls application for Intern – Partner Funds Division. The internship opportunity is located in the Department of Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department in the Asian Development Bank Headquarters. The internship can be up to 8-12 weeks with the possibility of starting in June 2020.

The incumbent will have to assess the developmental effectiveness of single-partner trust funds that were closed in recent years. The final output of the intern is a rapid review of grants and technical assistance supported by the trust funds vis a vis ADB’s strategic priorities at the time of implementation.

ADB provides a stipend of 69 USD per day for 56 days.

Expected Outcomes

The Asian Development Banks expects the following outcomes from the intern

  • Evaluation of a single closed trust fund/ Comparative evaluation of some closed trust funds.
  • Rapid assessment of the outcomes of the TF-funded grants and TAs, including geographic and sector trends.
  • A summary of lessons learned from activities supported by these single-partner funds.

Requirements

Candidates must have the following qualifications to take part in this Internship Opportunity at Asian Development Bank

  • Candidate must be pursuing studies in a Masters or Ph.D. program in Public Policy/ Economics.
  • Must be familiar with relevant literature particularly on development finance
  • Similarly, s/he should possess an excellent command of English with strong writing and analytical skills
  • Furthermore, relevant research/work experience with written outputs preferred but not required.
