Throughout the 12 months, the incumbent will also work with multiple HRIS and reporting systems, perform hands-on HR generalist tasks, and receive a well-rounded skill set of how to be a strategic HR professional.

What will the Human Resource Intern do at L’Oreal?

  • Issue, track and follow up on new hire, transfer, promotion and term workflows
  • Trouble-shoot employee questions
  • Facilitate all non-exempt recruitment, interview scheduling, and follow-up
  • New hire process for all employees which includes: HireRight background/drug screen, RedCarpet new hire paperwork, space planning/telephone set up, corporate card application, etc.
  • Prepare for annual meetings such as talent review and year-end compensation reviews
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, quarterly new hire breakfast, lunch and learns, etc.
  • Provide support during the new hire integration process
  • Prepare, maintain, and update reports and Org Charts

Analytics/Reporting:

  • Work with the Talent Management team to consolidate data for CMO and Marketing Talent.
  • Running and analyzing reports for junior talent populations
  • Creating and updating presentations to report on talent status of operational marketers and international mobility in the U.S.

Projects:

  • Support the deployment of events amongst our Talent communities and training on specific dimensions (Cross-cultural- inspiration). You will have the opportunity to take ownership of making networking events a success by working with our high-end vendors and owning the event details.

Administrative departmental duties including, but not limited to:

  • Travel arrangements, phone coverage, route mail, expense reports
  • Likewise, Maintain calendars and arrange appointments
  • Maintain files for expense reports, invoices, memo’s as well as Process invoices
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for all presentations to senior management
  • All other necessary administrative duties
