The OSU-Cascades Innovation Co-Lab launches startups, nonprofits, and small businesses. This department at OSU-Cascades is looking for prospective interns for Service Learning Internship who want to build their skills, work alongside exciting new ventures, and learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur. In this position, you’ll work at the Co-Lab on campus at OSU-Cascades Graduate Research Center where you’ll be surrounded by entrepreneurs and nonprofit entrepreneurs who are making their dreams into a reality. Also, you’ll get access to the networking events, free coffee, free Red Bull, and other perks of the Co-Lab.

This is an internship where you can build your skills and your resume. It’s more than just work: it’s preparation for the career you want. You’ll get an opportunity to learn about social media management, content-based marketing, and online learning. Also, you’ll learn about marketing, generating sales leads, and closing contracts. Further, you’ll learn what it means to make the most of digital technology and where to get funding. You may even get projects that teach you about unmanned aircraft, videography, editing, and event planning. You’ll get the chance to learn about technology commercialization and what makes a new venture succeed.

Reimbursement for the Internship

The Service Learning Internship program at Oregon State University guarantees the reimbursement at a rate of $12.50-$17.50 per hour.

What will the Service Learning interns do at Oregon State University?

The Service Learning Internship is an opportunity for an intern to learn and build primary skills in social media management, content-based marketing, and online learning. Further, the interns will:

• Perform online research, write short reports, and share them with Executive Director and clients of the Co-Lab.
• Likewise, create and edit digital content (writing, video, and more).
• Further, assist with workshops and events by setting up, moving furniture, and cleaning up.
• Moreover, track time committed to projects promptly.
• Perform administrative tasks (emailing, scheduling, making phone calls, and entering data)
• Also, keep commitments and attend regular meetings with the Executive Director.

What qualifications do you need for Service Learning Internship?

Prospective interns for the Service Learning Internship at Oregon University must demonstrate:

• an interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, and nonprofits;
• Likewise, an interest in creating great online content, videos, and social media posts;
