Sony Corporation of  America calls application for Tax Internship in New York City Global Tax Department. This is an ongoing internship, it will begin immediately and continue throughout the year. Sony Tax Department is looking for a commitment of at least 24 hours per week throughout the semester.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tax return preparation of Sony’s foreign subsidiaries as required for filing with the IRS.
• Assist with information gathering and work for a paper organization.
• Perform on-line reviews of general ledger system data.
• Perform other tax compliance and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

In order to be eligible for this Tax Internship at Sony Corporation of America, candidates must have the following qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or University
• Undergraduate Accounting majors preferred.
• Students entering their sophomore or junior year of college highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Self-starter.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to handle many priorities/functions.
• Flexible hours, preferably a minimum of 24 hours per week.
• All candidates must have the authorization to work in the United States
