The intern will work to help build the Advanced Display Manufacturing Operations team to help build an analysis engine to correlate part yield to inline parameter measurements. What will Yield Modeling Engineering Intern do at Apple?

Work with engineering teams and manufacturing partner companies to build the infrastructure and database to collect and organize inline process data. Using data, advanced regression, and other Big Data analysis techniques, build a correlation engine to drive manufacturing specification refinement.

  • Serve as a technical leader to define and implement methodologies to organize large amounts of data coming from multiple manufacturing tools in different formats into a consolidated database.
  • Develop statistical models using regression as well as other modeling techniques to correlate part yield to manufacturing data measured inline.
  • Based on models refine design and process specifications.
  • Work with manufacturing partners and internal engineering teams to implement and validate refined specifications.
  • Also, present timely, concise reports advising on implementation progress to a diverse set of program stakeholders.
