The Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA) provide grants for all stages of researchers. Moreover, doctoral candidates or highly experienced researchers can apply for the fellowship. In a field of science where women are still strongly underrepresented, even at the student level, the INSPIRE Potentials – MARVEL Master’s Fellowships aim to empower excellent female students to conduct their Master’s thesis research in a laboratory belonging to the NCCR MARVEL  on “Computational Design and Discovery of Novel Materials”. Further, this initiative seeks to increase the number of women researchers in the field of simulation science, as represented by the different laboratories involved.

 

Fully Funded Indonesian Government Scholarship for International Student

The Kemitraan Negara Berkembang (KNB) Scholarship is financial assistance offered by the Indonesian Government to International students coming from developing countries to pursue their master degree in Indonesian Universities. Moreover, the Kemitraan Negara Bekembang (KNB) Scholarship was first introduced by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 1992. On 1 July 2017, the NFP entered a new phase under the name Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP). OKP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fully Funded British Council Workshop 2019 in Brazil is for Impact of gunshot wounds on muscle regeneration. Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council, CONFAP, and FAPESP, they will be holding a workshop at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil from June 26-28, 2019. Moreover, the workshop is being coordinated by Dr. Scott Bowen (School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Leeds) and Prof Anselmo Moriscot (Department of Anatomy, University of Sao Paulo). Further, the workshop will have contributions from other leading researchers located in the UK. We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Sao Paolo State, Brazil to apply to attend this workshop, with a total of 17 per country being selected for participation. The Newton Fund and CONFAP Researcher Links programme will cover all travel and accommodation expenses.

 

Shanghai Government Grants and Scholarships for international students in 2019

Applications are open for the Shanghai Government Scholarship 2019. Shanghai Government is offering a full scholarship as well as partial scholarship. The scholarship is for Bachelor, Masters and Ph.D. level. Further, the scholarship is for Excellent foreign students applying for undergraduate, masters and doctoral education at East China Normal University. Moreover, Tuition and accommodation fees are exempted, and comprehensive insurance for international students in China is provided. Also, the monthly living allowance for scholarships is 2,500 yuan for undergraduates, 3,000 yuan for graduate students, and 3,500 yuan for doctoral students.
