Call for Athletic Fellowship – External Internship at Saint Louis University in the Saint, Louis, United States of America. The primary role of the External Operations Intern is to assist the marketing, promotions, event and media relations teams. This position will generate content for social media, execute pre-game and in game promotions and assist with various elements related to game management, marketing and media relations. The External Operations Intern will use marketing strategies to generate revenue, increase attendance and engage fans.

Position 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, and time management skills along with collegiate athletic experience in the areas of marketing and social media or related fields. Experience in the Adobe creative suite such as Photoshop, Premier Pro, and InDesign as well as experience with cameras and audio/video techniques are preferred. This position will include a combination of office hours throughout the week and will involve necessary coverage for athletic events throughout the year including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for content planning and creation for sport specific social media accounts across multiple platforms throughout the week and on game day.
• Assist with the execution of pre-game, post-game, and in-game promotions and overall game management.
• Work with other units such as ticketing, development, and facilities as needed.
• Assist with graphic design and video creation for various department projects.
• Help with the organization and execution of the Billiken Kids Club and Billiken mascot appearances.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have the following qualifications for Athletic Fellowship at Saint Louis University

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in athletics external operations and/or marketing and/or media preferred.
