Cinema Makeup School is pleased to present The Legends of Makeup Scholarships (“LOM”) to undergraduate students. These annual scholarships awards celebrate the career and craft of legendary makeup artists. Further, these Scholarships identify and recognize talents of newcomer makeup artists who show dedication and motivation by passion of their craft to spearhead the next vanguard of professional makeup artists.

Cinema Makeup School will select the reciepent on the basis of a combination of the following criteria: financial hardship, triumph over adversity and artistic ability. Moreover, the winner will be chosen based upon a qualitative review of submitted materials. All decisions are final.

Value

The The Legends of Makeup Scholarship will consist of an amount of $10,000 applicable towards any Cinema Makeup School undergraduate program in Los Angeles campus. The successful candidate to receive the scholarship will be the one person who is looking to further his or her education in the area of makeup artistry.

The School will announce the selected recipients of the LOM Scholarship via email. The winner will be announced through the online resources of Cinema Makeup School.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and who will be eligible to enroll at the time of their first class.

Further, students from other nationalities are welcome to apply for the scholarship as well.

Ve Neill, the scholarship sponsor, will personally select the finalists and the winner.

To Apply

To apply for the Undergraduate scholarships, Cinema Makeup School will require:

• Up to eight (8) images showing various makeup applications. The makeup applications can be in any style (beauty, character, special makeup FX, etc).
• Also, a personal statement about your life, ambitions, and any adversity faced in your life. This is your opportunity to tell us what makes you special and why you want to attend Cinema Makeup School.

Undergraduate Makeup Artists may send their scholarships application to the Cinema Makeup School via email. Further, the school also offers alternative for sending the application via post. Applicants may send their applications at the following address:

However, Cinema Makeup School will not be responsible should the application not arrive.

Deadline

Cinema Makeup School accepts application for the Undergraduate Scholarships until 12 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time), December 1, 2019. All the MakeUp Artists who wish to receive the scholarships, may submit their complete application before the deadline. The School will not entertain late application, and are thereby not eligible for the scholarship.
